The Queer Tamil Collective (QTC) is a Toronto-based non-profit organization dedicated to joyfully affirming the lives of queer, trans, and intersex Tamil individuals, with a focus on serving Dalit and Muslim Tamil queers.
Queer Tamils have been at the forefront of advocacy and activism in Canadian arts and culture, and our intersectional voice addresses the violence faced by our community.
QTC operates within a feminist, anti-oppression, and secular framework, ensuring that all our initiatives are grounded in access, equity, and social justice.
We prioritize holistic health and wellness, utilizing a trauma-informed approach that incorporates key principles of trauma care into our organizational culture. Through storytelling, art, and collective action, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space where every voice is heard and valued.
