      A week dedicated to increasing understanding of aromantic identities and experiences. It affirms that meaningful relationships exist beyond romance and that everyone deserves recognition and respect for how they connect with others.

  • ✍🏽 Audre Lorde’s Birthday

      A day to honour Audre Lorde—Black feminist, lesbian, poet, and activist—whose work continues to shape conversations on race, gender, sexuality, disability, and justice. Her writing reminds us that caring for ourselves and each other is an act of resistance.

  • 🌈 Chosen Family Day

      A day to celebrate chosen family—the people we build bonds with through care, trust, and mutual support. For many queer and trans people, chosen family provides safety, love, and belonging beyond traditional family structures.

      A day to affirm dignity, fairness, and equal rights for all people. It highlights how discrimination, based on identity, health, or status, harms communities and calls for inclusion and accountability.

  • ✊International Women’s Day

      A global day recognizing women’s achievements and ongoing struggles for gender justice. It also centers trans women, nonbinary people, and gender-diverse communities impacted by sexism.
