We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to evaluate mental health services for the queer Tamil community, particularly focusing on queer, trans, and intersex individuals. This role is vital for identifying service gaps and enhancing support initiatives for the LGBTQ+ Tamil community in the GTA.
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to engage with diverse community stakeholders
- Proficiency in research and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Survey Monkey etc).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social work, public health, psychology, sociology, or related fields
- Understanding of mental health issues affecting LGBTQ+ populations, as well as the Tamil community
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods
